The Route Tool allows you to create your own routes right on the maps. You can adjust waypoint locations, add or remove waypoints, and select individual symbols and colors to represent each waypoint, segment or leg of a route.

You can even record comments about routes and individual waypoints. Terrain Navigator will save your comments for future reference.
